This year's program will begin with social time and dinner followed by the awarding of the 2026 Highland Lakes A&M Foundation Scholarships to local Burnet County High School Students.  We will then hear from our Muster Speaker. We will then conclude the evening with the solemn Muster Ceremony in which we acknowledge and honor those Aggies who have passed away over the last year.  We have a great program and meal planned for your this year.  Hope to see you there!

Muster Speaker: Stephen McGee

Stephen McGee is a proud member of Texas A&M’s Class of 2008, originally from Burnet, Texas. He earned both his undergraduate degree in business and a master’s degree from the renowned Mays Business School. Best known during his college years as the Aggies' starting quarterback from 2004 to 2008, McGee distinguished himself both on and off the field—earning Academic All-Big 12 honors, the Aggie Heart Award, and the prestigious Bobby Bowden Award for leadership, character, and faith.

Following his collegiate career, McGee was selected in the fourth round (101st overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Notably, he became the first quarterback drafted by the Cowboys since 2001. After his time in Dallas, McGee had an offseason stint with the Houston Texans in 2013, then went on to play two seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, participating in back-to-back Grey Cup runs.

Today, Stephen serves as a Partner and "financial quarterback" at Paragon Financial Advisors, an independent RIA firm managing approximately $1 billion in assets. He brings the same leadership, discipline, and strategic mindset from his playing days into his work helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes.

Of all his titles, McGee is most proud to be husband to fellow Aggie Brittany and father to their two children, Georgia Grace and Matthew Beau.
