Muster Speaker: Rev. Gregory W. Cross

cross-head-shot

The Rev. Gregory W. Cross is a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2020, he is a first-generation Aggie. His wife Faith is also a proud Aggie, class of 2019. They met while at Texas A&M. Faith was completing a degree in Biomedical Sciences, and Gregory was completing a history degree. During his time in College Station, Gregory was a member of the Student Government Association serving as the Vice President of Legislative Relations, a student representative on the University Student Rules and Regulations Committee, interim president of the campus ministry association.  He served on the review board of the Aggie Recovery Community, planned and led the Southeastern Conference’s advocacy day in Washington D.C. 2018, and represented Texas A&M on two occasions at the Southeastern Conference’s Student Government Exchange Program both in Athens, Georgia and Lexington, Kentucky. Faith and Gregory were involved in various leadership positions at the Episcopal Student Center at Texas A&M where they met and consequently fell in love.

Gregory went on to complete a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary and presently serves on the clergy staff of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas. At St. Martin’s, his ministry focus is on pastoral care. Both Faith and Gregory are members of the Houston A&M club and are regular fixtures at the “Tradition Lunch.” Outside of work and cheering on the Aggies in all sports, Faith and Gregory are fanatic readers and love to travel.
